My name is Deborah Kerr,
Deb to my friends and relatives. I live in the beautiful Sierra Foothills
above Sacramento, CA and am blessed to have land on which I can keep and
care for my rescued animals. Cats, dogs, chickens, one old duck,
birds and fish are a large part of my life. I also work as a massage therapist
and Reiki practitioner. After years of doing various art forms I
have finally found one that allows me to mix my love of nature and God's
creatures.
I'm especially fond of the
beautiful natural colors of the Emu egg. It's colors can vary from
a beautiful emerald green to a turquoise-black and even grayish hue.
In the picture above, one of my hens, Iris, poses for a picture.
The feathers used in my Egg-Art are from my pet chickens and roosters who
range free on my property. Of course that's me in the picture on the left
with Iris and Buddy one of my cat rescues. |
